I am a child of the 80’s. I did what every other kind in the 80’s did. Saturday morning I parked my butt right in front of the TV and glued my eyes to the screen to watch low educational value cartoons and kids shows produced solely for my entertainment only. I didn’t know Tom and Jerry never said a word through the whole show until I was in my twenties and I watched it with my little girl. It’s not like it is today.

Today it’s Dora, and Blue’s Clues, Little Einsteins. Educationally rich shows that actually teach kids something. My 3 year old daughter can recognize Mozart among other famous muscians and artisit so ya, it serves it’s purpose. Continue reading →
